Maple Street Dance Space, its owners, Romy & Tim Keegan, and its diverse community of teachers and creatives, are pleased to be recognized by several arts and media organizations, including Creative ABQ, Women & Creativity, Albuquerque the Magazine, and the Albuquerque Journal, and even Land Rover Albuquerque, for our contributions toward creative and economic development, and industry excellence in our community.  Along with several "Top 5", “Top 3”, and "Best Of" awards for best dance studio and/or dance lessons over the years, we were especially honored to have been one of six honorees selected for the Creative Bravos Award, in 2014, from Creative ABQ, a city affiliated arts organization and non-profit.

And in 2018, Romy Keegan was extremely honored to be one of six truly remarkable women, awarded the Shine Award, from Women & Creativity, an organization that, "...celebrates the efforts and impact of our community’s women and their contributions to the arts, creativity, entrepreneurship, leadership, and shared vision", and, "honor(s) women who work with purpose and intention, shift how we see things, and make a positive impact on community."  We at Maple Street, are privileged and so very grateful, to continue on in our commitments to uplift our community, and our dedication to the exploration, practice, and expression, of the Arts!
